About Us
‘Dar Milosti’ church ( which means 'gift of grace') was founded in the autumn of
2000.
From the start, there was intensive evangelism. Many preachers from Croatia and also other parts of the world attended conferences in Šibenik and preached on the streets of the town. Many people listened to the gospel: in meetings (such as on Reformation Day, Christmas, Easter and evenings of lectures on Christian themes) and through radio shows. After the initial wave of revival the church began to be built up. A variety of activities were started: bible study and Sunday school, womens' and mens' meetings, young peoples' groups, a support group for addicts and a group for those who wanted to visit prisoners. |
In the last years we are visiting and helping EPC churches in the region of Dalmatia.
In Sunday school there are have two classes; for lower and for higher grades of primary school. Children from other local churches also come to it. The church has a children's club "Svjetlionica", which takes place bi-monthly. Members of the club can invite their friends to a program of games and teaching. Today 'Dar Milosti' church has over fifty baptised, active members and twelve children. The church has a pastor, three elders and a worship team of five people. |
In 2004 the church became a member of the Evangelical Pentecostal Church in the Republic of Croatia (EPC) and since then has operated as a full member under the name 'EPC Dar Milosti'. Some members began to attend the annual meetings of EPC.
Since 2007 at the request of EPC, 'Dar Milosti' has helped 'EPC Knin', which has included maintaining regular Sunday services. Today our ministry team for Knin includes eight people, who have a variety of roles. |
